This week, CEN and CENELEC were pleased to welcome the delegation of the Standards Council of Canada (SCC), led by CEO Chantal Guay, to the CEN-CENELEC Management Centre in Brussels.
The discussions reaffirmed that cooperation between like-minded partners continues to be essential, and that standards remain an important enabler of innovation, resilience, and trusted markets in a rapidly changing global environment. From sustainability and clean hydrogen technologies to AI and data, we explored how closer collaboration can help shape solutions to shared challenges and strengthen international alignment.
We look forward to furthering our joint contribution to the EU-Canada Regulatory Coordination Forum and continuing our work together as trusted and like-minded partners. Thank you to our SCC colleagues for an excellent and forward-looking exchange.
