European standards are key to support the transition to a more sustainable future for all. Through a new dedicated online tool, CEN and CENELEC have mapped the direct contributions standards make to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The 32nd meeting of CEN-CENELEC Working Group of the Technical Boards ‘STAIR’ (STAndards, Innovation and Research) took place on Thursday 24 February. STAIR is the focal point within CEN and CENELEC for any matter related to integrating standardization with innovation and research.

Elena Santiago Cid, CEN and CENELEC’s Director General, spoke at the “Cooperating on Digital Policy and Tech Standards” panel during the dedicated hybrid stakeholder roundtable at the occasion of the third Ministerial Meeting of the Trade and Technology Council (TTC) between the EU and the US.
