The CEN Workshop on was kicked off on 19th June 2025. The Workshop’s registered participants have agreed on the first draft of the CWA.
On 24 November 2025, a high-level event in Brussels brought together policymakers, industry leaders, grid operators, standardization bodies, and researchers to examine how Europe’s electricity system can evolve from a focus on decarbonization alone towards long-term resilience, competitiveness, and security. Against the backdrop of rapid electrification and growing system stress, the event ‘Green Electricity Systems and Beyond: From Climate Goals to Systemic Resilience’ explored how, while the energy transition is advancing, it now faces a more complex and demanding phase.

A new CEN Workshop is being planned which will complement the activities of the EU project 'Edu4Standards'. This project brings together a consortium of higher education institutions, standardization bodies and SMEs with the goal of innovating how standardization is taught in Europe.

A new CEN Workshop is being planned as part of the activities of the EU project FOLOU - 'Bringing knowledge and consensus to prevent and reduce food loss at the primary production stage'. This project raises awareness about food loss and dares to rethink it, putting the emphasis on listening and learning in relation to food systems in the hope for a better way forward.
