Standards Norway is strengthening its membership programme to build a broader and more engaged community around standardization. The initiative is based on a clear value proposition: members gain access to relevant insights and networks, practical benefits and training opportunities, and the possibility to influence framework conditions for their sector both nationally and internationally.
A key part of the work is to make the value of membership more visible and accessible. Members are invited into an active network where they receive updates on developments in Norway and Europe, as well as globally, including regulatory and policy initiatives linked to standardization, says Jacob Mehus, CEO for Standards Norway and CEN Board Member.
Standards Norway also distributes an exclusive membership newsletter to more than 200 recipients, featuring news and insights from the European and international standardization landscape, with a particular focus on developments in the EU and the CEN and CENELEC system.
The membership programme also offers concrete benefits such as webinars, tailored training in standardization, profiling opportunities, and discounts on courses. At the same time, members are given opportunities to contribute to shaping Standards Norway’s strategic direction and to promote their sector’s interests in national, European, and global standardization processes.
