After the successful stakeholder consultation in July, the Stan4SWAP consortium is now ready to put a final touch on their roadmap for standardization of swappable batteries for light category electric vehicles.
Swappable batteries are deemed to be able to significantly improve the decarbonisation of smaller vehicles, provided that the interoperability, safety, and other essential parameters are facilitated by a common European standard.
The outcomes of this meeting will contribute to drafting a full EU standardization roadmap, as well as making recommendations towards a wide scale implementation of swappable batteries.
