The reference practice UNI/PdR 159:2024 ‘Inclusive work for people with disabilities’, promoted by the Lombardia region and Unioncamere Lombardia, aims to equip companies and organizations in the inclusion of people with disabilities in the world of work.
Yesterday, 26 March, the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) and the European General Galvanizers Association (EGGA-Galvanizing Europe) signed a partnership agreement that will foster collaboration and align the interests of the galvanizing industry in Europe with the standardization ecosystem.

On 7 March, the five Regional Quality Infrastructure Organizations of Europe, the European Committee for Standardization (CEN), the European Committee for electrotechnical standardization (CENELEC), the European co-operation for Accreditation (EA), the Association of the National Metrology Institutes in Europe (EURAMET), and the European Cooperation in Legal Metrology (WELMEC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to create the European Ql Network.

Laminated glass is obtained by bonding glass layers using a polymeric interlayer. One polymer used as interlayer is polyvinyl butyral (PVB). Up to now, most of the post-consumer PVB material in laminated glass is incinerated or landfilled, and only 9 % are recycled in secondary uses. Recycling of PVB presents several difficulties related with the contents of glass, humidity, mixing of compositions and polymer optical degradation.
