Every day, there is an intense circulation of road and rail vehicles transporting various sensitive goods: fresh fruits, meats, flowers, vaccines, organs, medical devices, or chemicals. CEN Workshop on The QaR method to measure the extreme risk of re-identification of a database in the context of assessing its insurability

Various anonymisation and pseudonymisation techniques exist, some of which are standardized. Nevertheless, the risk of a data breach for anonymised data and therefore that of re-identification of individuals remain significant. Therefore, institutions and commercial companies that may create or disseminate databases without identifiers are thus looking for a simple tool to measure this extreme risk of re-identification.

ANEC’s position on the adoption of a new CEN standard for carry cots

In February, ANEC sent a Favourable Opinion to CEN on the proposed adoption of FprEN 1466 ‘Child care articles - Carry cots and stands for domestic use - Safety requirements and test methods’, currently under approval. The ballot closed on 9 March, with all votes cast in favour.
