UNI’s new guide on how standards help the implementation of the EU Recovery Plan

UNI, the Italian National Standardization Body, just published a guide on project management and risk minimisation in the implementation of the EU Recovery Plan and the related Italian Plan for Recovery and Resilience, the so-called PNRR. The document was realised in collaboration with the Confederation of the Italian Industry, the Lombardy Council of the Orders of Engineers, the Graduate School of Business of the Milan Politecnico University and Federmanager.

The ‘Standardization in support of PNRR’ guide (available in Italian only) is the result of an accurate analysis of various official documents and best practices conducted by the responsible working group. It identified the skills and tools necessary for efficient and effective project management, together with the main supporting national, european and international standards.

According to UNI’s Director General Ruggero Lensi, “the Italian recovery must go through the quality of the initiatives and works carried out with the European funds in accordance with standards".
