EUBsuperhub is a European project funded by the European Union's H2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 101033916. The project supports the evolvement of the certification process in Europe by the development of a scalable methodology to view, assess and monitor the buildings through their lifecycle, in a virtual marketplace.

The Workshop is an initiative by OMICRON aimed at enhancing road maintenance, renewal, and upgrades through robotic technologies and intelligent decision support tools. These advancements aim to improve road user and personnel safety, reduce maintenance costs, and increase the efficiency of road interventions, thereby minimizing traffic disruptions.

On 31 January, CEN and CENELEC replied to the call for evidence launched by the European Commission on the upcoming Single Market Strategy. This Strategy aims to modernize the Single Market to better support European competitiveness and innovation. CEN and CENELEC, as two of the three official European Standardization Organizations (ESOs), took this opportunity to outline standardization’s important contribution to the Single Market and how standardization can be used to support the goals of this strategy.

Consumer Interests

In-Mould Electronics (IME), also known as plastronics, is used to enhance the device integration process, increasing resistance to humidity and wear and tear, and adding custom-made connectors. IME will also serve as a manufacturing process for the advanced materials with better conductive and resistant properties proposed in the project.  This technology allows to create plastronic products combining electronics’ functional printing and electronic components’ hybridisation with traditional plastic transformation processes, such as thermoforming and injection moulding.

As part of the European Standardization Package, the European Commission presented a consultation on a proposal for an amendment to Regulation (EU) No 1025/2012. CEN and CENELEC wrote a response.
