Another notable event in October was the 18th Electrical Engineering Days, organized by the Croatian Chamber of Electrical Engineers (HKIE). It took place in Poreč from 14 to 17 October 2026, bringing together professionals to discuss key developments in electrical engineering.

The programme focused on artificial intelligence, digitalization, the energy transition, smart grids, battery energy storage and a new energy infrastructure, alongside innovative technological solutions presented by industry representatives.

The Croatian Standards Institute and HKIE have a long-standing partnership, as HKIE has been an HZN member for a long time. For 12 years, HKIE has provided its members with access to the Croatian Standards Repository, supporting their everyday professional work.

HZN Director General Ana Marija Boljanović attended the event as a special guest of HKIE, alongside Dragica Rapo Hercigonja, Head of HZN’s Sales and Marketing Department.
