Engaging stakeholders on CRA implementation across Europe

The beginning of 2026 has been marked by an intense series of dissemination activities supporting the implementation of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). Through webinars, deep-dive technical sessions and on-site workshops, the European standardization community is actively engaging stakeholders and facilitating the understanding of how harmonized standards will support CRA compliance.

Under the umbrella of the CRA Standards Unlocked initiative, a series of online webinars and thematic “deep dives” aim to provide detailed insights into specific technical areas and standardization developments linked to the CRA. These sessions enable experts and SMEs to explore draft standards in depth, understand their regulatory context, and ask targeted questions. Building on this online outreach, the CRA Standards Unlocked – EU Tour brought the discussion directly to stakeholders across Europe. In collaboration with the projects Cyberstand.eu and STAN4CRA.eu, CEN and CENELEC are contributing to several workshops. The first stops were in Zagreb (20 January 2026) at the Algebra Bernays University and in Turin (24 February 2026) at the SellaLab Innovation Center. The next one will take place in Barcelona (26 March 2026) at the Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya (CTTC). Each hybrid event gathers standards rapporteurs, cybersecurity specialists, and industry representatives to present ongoing work, clarify compliance pathways, and highlight available EU support tools and funding opportunities.

Together, these webinars, deep dives, and EU Tour events form a coherent dissemination effort designed to strengthen dialogue between regulators, standardizers, and industry. They demonstrate the commitment of the European standardization system to ensure that CRA requirements are translated into practical, accessible standards that support both cybersecurity and innovation across the Single Market.
