Launched in January 2025, the Shared Digital Infrastructure is a Consortium of interested CEN and CENELEC Members who are offering a platform for all CEN and CENELEC Members to list services offered, wanted ads, and team up on co-development projects. There are already 11 services advertised on the platform.
What is SDI?
The concept of creating a Shared Digital Infrastructure was born out of the realization that many Members are investing in the same types of digital solutions, duplicating investments. Why reinvent the wheel each time?
The SDI addresses this challenge by providing a marketing portal that enables Members to advertise digital services available to other Members. More precisely, it provides a place for Members to list wanted ads (“I’m looking for a service to… Can anyone provide it?”) and team up on co-development projects.
The platform is available to CEN and CENELEC Members.
How do I access the SDI marketing portal?
- Link to the platform is the following: https://sdi.standards.eu/. To get access, you should create an SDI account, which is separate from your usual CEN or CENELEC account.

As a kind reminder, the SDI initiative is funded entirely and directly by a Consortium of interested Members (not by membership fees), under the legal framework of CEN a.i.s.b.l. and CENELEC a.i.s.b.l.
Each advertised service is provided by one Member and available for other Members. Neither CEN nor CENELEC is a party to any contracts or transactions that may be concluded between Members. The purpose of the marketing portal is purely to facilitate information-sharing.
