CEN and CENELEC have published a brochure showcasing how standards can be used to support companies’ Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) goals and what role they can play in ESG reporting.
In February 2024, CEN and CENELEC and EFRAG signed a Memorandum of Understanding. With this agreement, they committed to developing maximum synergies between the different standards developed in the field of sustainability reporting.
The new brochure can enhance stakeholders’ understanding of the relationship between European Standards and ESG reporting, informing them of the benefit of using European standards for this purpose as well as providing examples of relevant standards.
