CEN Workshop announcement - Response to COVID-19 - Health and safety protocols for tourism establishments and services

 

This CEN Workshop plans to develop a European standardization deliverable for COVID-19 health and safety protocols for tourism establishments and services. This work will be carried out as a result of a request received by the European Commission on 10 January 2021.

This CEN Workshop plans to develop a European standardization deliverable for COVID-19 health and safety protocols for tourism establishments and services. This work will be carried out as a result of a request received by the European Commission on 10 January 2021.

CEN Technical Board members had the opportunity to have a preliminary, non-technical discussion on the request, during a web meeting on 26 January 2021. During this meeting, it was decided that the ISO/DPAS 5643 ‘Tourism and related services – Measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in the tourism industry’ would serve as a basis for technical discussions.

The kick-off meeting for this Workshop will be on Friday, 26 February 2021. Please register prior to the meeting, using the registration form provided below.

All interested parties are invited to submit comments on the draft project plan to the Workshop Secretary, Ms Natalia Ortiz de Zárate Crespo - UNE (nortiz@une.org) by 19 February 2021. You are kindly requested to use the commenting form below.
