On 28 October, the Italian Standardization Bodies UNI and CEI, together with the International Organization IEC, ISO and ITU organized the 2nd Standardization Summit, on the occasion (and under the aegis) of the G20 Italian Presidency.
The first Standardization Summit took place last year under the Saudi Arabia G20’s Presidency. On 28 October, representatives of governments, standardization bodies, industry, academia, think tanks and civil society had the opportunity to exchange views on how the institutional frameworks of the Italian and international standards bodies can help governments and regulators turn policies into concrete actions towards a more sustainable future.
