European Standards Adoption
One key objective of CEN and CENELEC international cooperation activities is to provide the opportunity for the adoption of European homegrown standards outside Europe.
To achieve this objective, CEN and CENELEC have developed cooperation frameworks with national standardization organizations around the world giving the opportunity for access to European deliverables, for review and eventually for adoption as national standards.
The CEN and CENELEC Global Outreach Report, released twice a year, provides an overview of technical alignment achieved with non-European partners through the adoption of identical European standards.
