CEN WS Police Firearm Technologies 

This Workshop aims to provide unbiased guidelines describing various technical tactical, wound ballistic, logistic and forensic properties for service pistols, police carbine and their respective test and verification methods taking. The analysis of the current police firearms technologies will provide a solid technical basis and yardstick for the design process of industry, national procurement and continuous monitoring of the equipment. This analysis will be focusing on setting out functional requirement and test methods for police firearms and will not address any safety aspects.

CEN Workshop's Agreement

The Workshop Agreements will be drafted as a collection of building block requirements on police firearms technologies in relation to technical, wound ballistic, logistic and forensic properties. The Workshop will produce four CEN Workshop agreements (CWAs) within the next three years
