This Workshop seeks to bring together IoT industry vendors, IoT and standards innovators, industry participants from vertical sectors, government representatives, SMEs and SME representatives, consumer advocacy groups, research agencies, competition law participants, SSO representatives and any other interested parties in IoT intellectual property or licensing,
to discuss and agree on Industry Best Practices and an Industry Code of Conduct for Licensing of Standard Essential Patents in particular in the field of 5G and Internet of Things.
The consensus outcome of the Workshop will be published as a CEN-CENELEC Workshop Agreement (CWA).
The kick-off meeting will be held on 12 February 2018, starting at 10:30 and finishing by 16:30, at the DIN premises - Burggrafenstraße 6, 10787 Berlin, Germany.

The CWA is expected to be finalized by the end of 2018/Q2.
All interested parties are welcome to register for participation and submit comments on the draft Project Plan to the Workshop Secretary Joachim Lonien, no later than 5 February 2018.
