More then 150 participants attended the conference in the SQUARE - Brussels Convention Centre on 4 December. The participants
included the Standardization community, Technical Committees, Stakeholders interested in standardization activities under the CPR , Construction industry and associations, Partner organizations, Policy makers and other interested parties.

Why?
Action 5 of the ‘Joint Initiative on Standardisation’ (JIS) under the Single Market Strategy, focusses on the main specificities and challenges pertaining to harmonised standards and the standardisation process for construction products.

What?
The conference included:

  • presentation of guidance documents prepared under the framework of JIS Action 5
  • informative presentations on recent updates for harmonized standards under the Construction Products Regulation (CPR EU 305/2011)
