CEN General Assembly elects new Vice-Presidents Policy and Finance 

Mr Thomas IDERMARK has been elected Vice-President Finance with a term of office from 6 September 2017 to 31 December 2019.
Mr. IDERMARK has been a member of the Board since 2015.
He has been the CEO and President of the Swedish Standards Institute (SIS) since 2015 and is currently the CEO and Chairman of SIS Förlag AB Publishing of standards, a subsidiary of SIS. Between 2008 and 2014, he served as President and CEO of SKL Kommentus AB, a commercial organization that provides consulting services to local and regional public authorities in Sweden.

Mr Christoph WINTERHALTER has been elected as Vice-President Policy for the period from 1 January 2018 to 31 December 2019, succeeding Mr Rüdiger MARQUARDT, whose term of office terminates in December 31 2017.  Mr WINTERHALTER has been Chairman of the Executive Board of DIN-Deutsches Institut fuer Normung e.V. since July 2016. He has also been member of various Technology advisory boards and held various governance positions in the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (ZVEI). His competencies in such fields as software engineering, robotics, process control and automation, among others, will be of great relevance to the CEN Community.
