New standard will help determine the amount of lipids in algae

Lipids are a class of natural organic substances characterized by a very low water solubility, a high organic solvent solubility and a high carbon and hydrogen content. They can be used, for example, to produce biofuels. Two new CEN Workshop Agreements help improve the resilience of critical infrastructures

CEN just published two CEN workshop agreements: CWA 18028:2023 and CWA 18024:2023. A new standard ensures the safety of travelators for winter sports and tourist use

Travelators (also known as ‘moving walkways’) appeared over 20 years ago with the initial aim to facilitate the climbing of outdoor steep paths by children in skiing areas.
