ANEC participated to World Consumer Rights Day 2023

To mark the occasion of World Consumer Rights Day on 15 March 2023, ANEC joined the Consumers International social media campaign ‘How can standards help protect consumers through clean energy transitions in the midst of cost-of-living crisis?

As part of the campaign, ANEC focused on the revision of key pieces of legislation, such as the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, on standards supporting the implementation of Ecodesign and Energy Labelling criteria, and on how standards can help reduce consumer vulnerability in time of a cost of living crisis.

Simultaneously, ANEC also took part in a joint social media campaign with CEN and CENELEC dedicated to World Consumer Rights Day, where the organization highlighted its work on the sustainability standard for washing machines.
