PKN organized a series of workshops for Young Professionals in Standardization

Since 2019, PKN has been successfully organizing workshops for Young Professionals in Standardization, with the aim to extend the practical knowledge of standardization and to promote greater involvement in the work of European and international standardization organizations. These workshops are intended for young persons actively involved in the activities of PKN's Technical Committees.

In 2021, due to the pandemic, participants met online for a series of three webinars, during which the following topics were discussed:

  • Active participation in standardization work. Commenting on standards and standardization documents;
  • Principles of implementing translated standards and developing homegrown national standards;
  • Development of a European Standard: how to actively participate?

In the opinion of the participants, the webinars were expertly prepared and contained useful substantive knowledge. Such workshops allow participants to develop their existing knowledge and give them a chance to move more consciously within the standardization process.
