Horizon Europe

Horizon Europe is the new European Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.

Horizon Europe will drive most of the European effort in research and innovation (R&I) during the next years with the aim to support the uptake of innovative solutions in industry and society to address global challenges.

The topics addressed by Horizon Europe cover sectors that are relevant for standardization activities, including health, security, digital society and much more.

Horizon Europe projects will be able to address standardization in different ways, including contributing to existing standards and developing new standardization deliverables. The link between European

R&I projects and standardization is celebrated by CEN and CENELEC with the Standards+Innovation Awards.
