Whilst Covid-19 continues to affect the world with specific restrictions and social distancing measures, CEN and CENELEC are taking measures regarding technical and governance meetings. These measures aim to safeguard the health and wellbeing of people in the CEN and CENELEC communities while providing certainty and supporting business continuity of our organizations.
CEN and CENELEC Meeting Centre
The CEN and CENELEC Meeting Centre remains closed until further notice.
CEN and CENELEC Members, Experts and Partners will be informed about the re-opening with a one-month notice. For any meeting already booked, CCMC will contact the organiser in order to notify the cancellation of the organisation of the event at the Meeting Centre.
CEN and CENELEC Governance Meetings in 2021
The governance meetings planned until 30 April 2021 will be organised exclusively online, including the CEN and CENELEC Administrative Boards on (2021-03-23/24/25) as agreed by the CEN and CENELEC Presidents.
Trainings and Workshops
All CEN and CENELEC workshops and trainings are organized virtually.

For those traveling to Brussels
Travels to Belgium is not recommended. However, if you have to travel to Brussels, please refer to the website of the Belgian authorities in order to be aware of local travel restrictions.
CEN and CENELEC Staff Returning to the office
The CCMC Senior Management Team also agreed that full-time compulsory homeworking continues to be the contemporary way of working. Potential gradual return to the office will be announced to the staff, when allowed, with a 2-week notice.
