The CEN-CENELEC Infodesk responds to enquiries received by telephone or via the 'contact us’ form and provides general information on CEN and CENELEC activities. The Infodesk gives direction and guidance on:
- where to locate specific information on the CEN or CENELEC website;
- the use of the CEN and CENELEC on-line catalogues of European Standards;
- the status of CEN or CENELEC Standards;
- the sales points of European Standards (ENs);
- the bodies to contact for questions that fall outside the scope of CEN-CENELEC, such as European Regulations, certification, CE Marking, etc.
Please note that the CEN-CENELEC Infodesk cannot provide technical solutions to questions such as what standard to use or queries relating to the interpretation of standards.
Technical questions should therefore be addressed to Standards Bodies and Electrotechnical Committees at national level (CEN and CENELEC members).
