This workshop will let standard makers exchange and train on the development of harmonised standards under Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. The workshop, with the participation of the Technical Committees, the Sector Rapporteur, the European Commission DG GROW and the HAS Consultants, will concentrate on the essentials for elaborating machinery safety standards (CEN Guide 414 and ISO Guide 78) and the relation of those standards to Directive 2006/42/EC. It will address latest developments (e.g. detailed informative Annex ZA/ZZ, HAS Consultants framework, ... ). It will also cover actual procedural aspects (Vienna and Frankfurt agreements, ...).
It will be an opportunity to exchange with the European Commission on the forthcoming revision of the Machinery Directive and the Standardization Request, including aspects of new technologies.
