Two Upcoming SESEC Webinars - Updates about Cybersecurity and Medical Devices Standardization in China  

SESEC, the Seconded European Standardization Expert in China, organises regular webinars to keep European stakeholders informed about standardization development.

In January 2019, SESEC will hold two webinars that will allow participants to better understand the connection between cybersecurity and standards and the evolution of Medical Devices standardization in China.

SESEC IV Webinar 03: Cyber Security Laws and Standards in China

  • Presenters:   Ms. Chen Shu, Legal Director of the Data Security Department of China Electronics Standardization Institute Information Security Research Center (CESI), and Dr. Betty Xu, the SESEC Expert
  • Main content:  latest development of rules and standards on cyber security in China

SESEC IV Webinar 04: Progress of IEC60601 Transposition in China 

  • Time and Date:  9:30-11:00am CET, Thursday, 24 January 2019
  • Presenters:   Ms. Zheng Jia, Associate Researcher at the Institute of Medical Device Standards Management of the National Institute for Food and Drug Control, and Dr. Betty Xu, the SESEC Expert
  • Main content:  This webinar is a follow-up and reaction to the feedbacks received during SESEC IV Webinar 02 “Registration rules and standards for  medical devices exporting to China” that took place on 23rd Nov 2018. It will talk about the transposition progress of IEC60601 in China, the development and current situation of GB9706.
